The World Music Expo (WOMEX) is based in a different European city each year. Mullo was invited by the Berlin-based organisation to pitch for the rebrand of WOMEX alongside a handful of studios across the world. The brief was complex yet simple — no music-related imagery or cultural appropriation was to be used, a maximum of four colours only were to be used and the pitch had to show how the branding would change for each city, every year. Mullo Studio's pitch made it to the final three selected studios. Here is Mullo's response to the brief.
